Wilson Living Today
While the snow was beautiful and it was great to enjoy it with family and friends, the staff at Wilson Living is ready to get back to business. And the business we’re getting back to is all things bridal, as we begin putting together the much anticipated Wedding Issue. And just because we didn’t want all the nuptial fun to end with the wedding issue, Wilson Living has teamed up with The Mill at Lebanon and Party Providers to bring you “The Blushing Bridal Show.”
The Blushing Bridal Show is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 20 from 1-5 p.m. The location is (big surprise) The Mill at Lebanon. At the show brides, grooms, bridesmaids and everyone else will get the opportunity to sample fine cuisine, view the latest wedding trends and styles and get a super cool swag bag filled with free goodies to help you plan your big day. Tickets are on sale now. Visit www.blushingbridalshow.com to purchase or visit your local Wilson Bank and Trust. The cost is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. If you’re interested in booth space for the big event, call 969-6751 or 519-0379 to reserve your spot. Hurry though, we’re filling up fast.
Just writing about weddings makes me think of cake and when I think of cake I can’t help but think about a fantastic new bakery in town. Bailey’s Sweet Treat on West Main in Lebanon is incredible! We stopped by last week and sampled some of their offerings.
Owners Tina and John Manning have a knack for creating the best made from scratch cookies and cakes, and we’re so happy they decided to share their talent with us. Stop by their store at 1340 West Main Street in Lebanon or give them a call 443-4008. The red velvet and strawberry cupcakes are to die for! Be sure and tell them Wilson Living sent you.
Keep up to date with all that’s going on by becoming a fan on Facebook. This week we’ll be posting photos from the next issue’s cover shoot. You will see some “behind the scenes” look at what goes into bringing you the best of Wilson County.
