Christmas lights are starting to pop up all over town, holiday events are being planned and everyone is in a merrier mood because Christmas is right around the corner,
And that means one thing…Santa sightings are happening all over town! If you haven’t figured it out yet, Santa has a special affinity for Wilson County, having scheduled many visits to the area before Christmas Eve. For those boys and girls who want to visit with Santa and review their Christmas lists with him, mom and dad need to make sure to take them by Wilson Bank & Trust in the coming weeks. Go to www.wilsonbank.com for a list of all the branches Santa is scheduled to visit between now and Dec. 17. Santa will make an appearance at every branch in the county, and he is very excited about meeting all the kids from the area. And kids and pets are welcome to visit Santa and the Grinch Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4, from 1-5 p.m. Santa and the Grinch will be on hand for photos and proceeds benefit New Leash On Life. For more information go to www.NewLeashOnLife.org. And Santa will also be on hand at Lannom Farms open Thursday (5-9 p.m.), Friday (5-10 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m.-10 p.m.) and Sunday (1-7 p.m.) from now until Christmas. Pre-cut trees, pictures with Santa, hayrides with lights and scenery, craft tables, and the North Pole where kids can play and jump in pretend snow are all part of this fun, farm. This is the first annual event at the farm better known for their fabulous pumpkin patch and maze. Be sure to visit with the Lannoms at their farm and share in this wonderful event during the holidays.
