The 4th Annual “Taste” will once again be held on the west lawn of Wilson Bank & Trust’s main location on West Main Street Oct. 18. Last year more than 1,200 tickets were sold where attendees feasted on tantalizing fare from more than 30 food vendors. To accommodate the crowd better this year and offer up a more intimate experience, organizers have added a VIP tent. Inside the VIP area guests will enjoy a few of the special perks reserved just for them. Attendees will also enjoy a marketplace where vendors’ signature sauces, gift baskets and other items will be available for purchase. The event partners Wilson Bank & Trust, Performance Foodservice and the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber of Commerce which are planning for another successful event this October. Beginning Thursday, Oct. 11, Wilson Living will be giving away two tickets per day for five days. You can register to win no sooner than Thursday. For more information visit www.tasteofwilsoncounty.com It’s a busy week for the folks at Wilson Bank & Trust next week as Oktoberfest follows just two days after “Taste.” Make plans to join in the fun Saturday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Oct. 21 noon to 4:30 p.m. at Wilson Bank’s main office in Lebanon. Festivities this year include an antique car show, craft vendors, live music, children’s games and activities, quilt and photography displays, a great selection of food and much more. The sponsors are in place and the marketing campaign kicked off last week. Everyone is getting super excited about the Pre-Opening Gala that kicks off the Expo.
