Authorities are searching for two men who pushed their way into a home on West Adams Street in Lebanon, used Duct tape to restrain the two occupants and took money and other items.

Officers are also looking for two men and two women who are suspects in the robbery of two occupants of a room at a local hotel.

In the first incident which occurred about 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen said two men described as Hispanics, forced their way into the home at 714 West Adams Street where they robbed the two occupants.

The two men restrained the occupants with Duct tape. They took money, two computers, a television and a gun.

One of the home’s occupants managed to free herself from the tape and ran to a neighbor’s house where she called police, Bowen said.

Both men, she said, wore masks and were 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with medium builds.

Wilson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in this home invasion. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 444-JAIL (444-5245) or Wilson County Sheriff’s Department at 444-1459.

The robbery of two guests staying in a room at the Knight’s Inn on Highway 231 South occurred on Tuesday night.

Bowen said two black males forced their way into Room 240. They were accompanied by two heavy-set white females.

The men wore masks and gloves, the chief said, adding the four suspects left in a red, four-door vehicle headed south toward Murfreesboro.

No one was injured.
