Swindoll dominates in 5-0 win

Now 30-6 on the season, the Commanders will be back in action Wednesday afternoon against Knox Grace -- a winner earlier Tuesday over Cornersville.


Tanner Martin's RBI single drove the game's first score in the top of the fourth inning with the only run Swindoll would really need.


The Commanders scored four insurance runs in the fifth as the Scotts Hill second baseman kicked a bases loaded, two-out grounder off the bat of Michael Hawks -- allowing two FCS runners to score.


DH Austin Godwin sealed the deal with a hard two-run single to right.


All told, the Commanders rapped out 11 hits against Lion pitchers Hunter Pope and Devon Lawton -- including two hits each from Michael Hawks, Hunter Watts and Stefan Remus.
