To the Editor:

This letter is to thank the community for their support of Country K-9 Rescue.

On Sunday, April 11, volunteers from Country K-9 Rescue were holding the annual fund raising bucket collection. The beautiful weather and generous donations added up to a very successful event. We want to thank our volunteers for giving up part of their weekend to help collect funds. And we want to thank all those who "pawsed" to contribute to our buckets. All these donations will go to helping our rescued pets with medical vet bills for spay/neuter, injuries, or illnesses.

We also want to recognize Mary Berger, Lebanon Codes Department, for her help in scheduling our event and her personal support of Country K-9.

Again, thank you to the Wilson County community for supporting our animal rescue efforts. You can learn more by visiting www.countryk9.petfinder.com.

Annelise Henning, Vice President, Country K-9 Rescue,Lebanon
