The King's Academy at FriendshipIdle Friday, Aug. 30 after a Week Zero victory over Harding Academy, Friendship Christian School returns to action tonight as they take on The Kings Academy. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 at Pirtle Field.The game, Friendships first in the East-Middle District of TSSAA Division II, will also serve as a back drop for homecoming festivities. Those activities will begin at 7 p.m.The Kings Academy stands 1-1 following a 35-18 win last week over Hancock County. Friendship sits 1-0 after whipping Harding Academy 35-6 back on Aug. 23.

Watertown High at Trousdale CountyDesperate for a win, Watertown travels to Hartsville tonight to play Trousdale County High in the District 8-A opener. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at historic John Kerr Field.The Purple Tigers stand 0-2 after a 35-14 road loss at Eagleville last week. The Yellow Jackets are a perfect 2-0 after road wins over Sycamore and Macon County.

Wilson Central at PortlandFresh from a thrilling 45-34 comeback win over LaVergne last week, Wilson Central High visits Portland in a District 9-AAA contest. Coach Brad Dedmans team stands 1-1 overall, 0-1 in the district while the Panthers are 0-2 on the season.

Middle TN Christian at MJ ChristianMt. Juliet Christian Academy is scheduled to host Middle Tennessee Christian School tonight in a 7 p.m. game at Suey Field. The Saints were idle last week and stand 0-1 after a Week Zero loss at Whitwell.

MTCS enters tonights contest at 0-2 with losses to Cannon County and Zion Christian.

Lebanon at HendersonvilleComing off a 31-17 home win last week over Franklin County, the Blue Devils travel to Sumner County to take on Hendersonville High. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Memorial Stadium with live radio coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. on WANT FM-98.9.

Look for the Commandos to be nursing a grudge after LHS bounced them from the 2012 playoff picture with a 13-7 loss at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium in the season finale.

Hendersonville is coming off a 42-7 road victory over Hunters Lane last week.
