Lynn Garner of S&S Towing walks back to Adam Patterson’s MTEMC service truck after surveying the damage to a truck that slid into a creek off Horn Springs Road in Lebanon on Thursday as it was snowing. Patterson’s younger brother, Dalton, was driving the wrecked truck when the driver’s side wheel struck the overpass barrier and flipped over. The younger Patterson said he crawled out of the truck and was unharmed in the accident. Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen confirmed that police received more than 40 calls involving traffic incidents throughout the city as of 3 p.m., yesterday. He expected that number to grow as the night progressed. Bowen said that most incidents involved slight injury or minor property damage.
