Vaughan, Morris sign for college

LEBANON -- Two more Wilson County prep athletes signed with NCAA institutions earlier this month.
Friendship Christian basketball standout Katy Vaughan signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent and scholarship papers Tuesday morning with Converse College in Spartanburg, SC.
A member of Conference Carolinas, the Valkyries are an NCAA DIVISION II institution.
Katy is the daughter of Larry and Cheryl Vaughan.
Lebanon High outfielder Brent Morris signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent and scholarship papers with UT-Martin of the Ohio Valley Conference.
Morris, called by LHS coach Tracy Slone, "the best defensive outfielder in District 7AAA", hit .342 last season with 39 hits, five doubles, two home runs and 28 RBI.
Brent is the son of Billy and Elaine Morris.
