LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Monday morning, Jan. 3 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. VanHook, 84, of Lebanon.
Born Mar. 22, 1926, in Smith County to the late Albert H. Ogle Jr. and Pauline Springfield Ogle, Mrs. VanHook died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Lebanon's University Medical Center.
Retired from Texas Boot Co., she worked in the cafeteria at Southside Elementary and attended Barton’s Creek Baptist Church.
Services were conducted by Eld. James T. Gibbs. Interment followed in the Bartons Creek Cemetery.
Survivors include:  daughter Sylvia (Eddie) Fields; granddaughter Denise Fields; brother Albert (Liz) Ogle Jr.; daughter-in-law Linda VanHook; niece Deborah (Wayne) Fletcher; nephews Dillard (Robbie) Rodgers Jr., Gene Echols; great-niece Kristi Fletcher.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marion VanHook; son Phillip VanHook; grandson Michael Fields; siblings Frances Marks, Christine Rodgers and Ralph Ogle. 
Pallbearers: Wayne Fletcher, Roger, Mackie, and Eddie Fields, Albert Ogle Jr., Dillard Rodgers, Jr. and Gene Echols.
