JAMESTOWN -- Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14 at the Mundy Funeral Home in Pickett County for Mr. Bilbrey, 72, of Mt. Juliet.
Retired from the U.S. Navy and Wright Industries after 25 years of employment, he died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at the home of his daughter in Lenoir City.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Mundy Funeral Home.
Services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Pritchard West Cemetery, with military honors conferred by the Pickett County VFW.
Survivors include: daughter Denisa Dayle (David) Matlock Lenoir City and Kimberly Jo Bilbrey Finchum of Mt. Juliet. Also surviving is brother James Bilbrey of Hermitage; grandchildren Maddison Emily Matlock, Jonathan Cole Matlock and Jason Lane Matlock -- all of Lenoir City and Landon West Finchum of Mt. Juliet; as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; and special mother-in-law, Stella West.
Mr. Bilbrey is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Joretta West Bilbrey; parents Ina Jane Crisp Bilbrey Wilson and Joe Landon Bilbrey; and stepfather Sam Wilson.
Pallbearers: Johnny Dwight West, Evan West, Cole Matlock, Lane Matlock, Jimmy Bilbrey, Kenny West and Landon West Finchum.
Mundy Funeral Home, Jamestown, is in charge of arrangements.
