“Collections are better than they could have been,” he noted. “Those who have the money have come in and paid early if anything.”To pay in person, a taxpayer can go to the Trustee’s office, Room 4 in the Wilson County Courthouse. The office is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays, but Major said the office will not be open on Saturday.For those taxpayers who don’t want to, or can’t, come into the office, Major said there are two other options. Taxpayers can mail their taxes to the Trustee’s office at 228 East Main Street, Lebanon, TN, 37087. Major said as long as the payment as postmarked by March 2 it will be honored.
