Winter Gathering celebrates Greyhound adoption

Greyhound Pets of America Nashville will host its annual Winter Gathering from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22 in the Tennessee Livestock Center, 1720 Greenland Drive, Murfreesboro.

Retired racing greyhounds and their owners and people interested in adopting a retired racing greyhound are welcome. Admission is $5 per person/$10 per family, plus $2 per dog.

This year’s Winter Gathering will include games, prizes, a live auction and competitive racing as well as vendors selling greyhound merchandise, including collars, coats, art, T-shirts and jackets, window decals and jewelry. Proceeds from the Winter Gathering will support greyhound adoption in Middle Tennessee, Southern Kentucky and Northern Alabama.
