Wreck injures two people

A two-vehicle mishap early Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of South Cumberland Street injured two occupants of a white Ford SUV. The Northbound SUV, driven by Dustin Irelan, 27, of Old Hickory, was struck and flipped by a 2004 Toyota driven by a 16-year old female. According to Traffic Division Officer Wayne Howard of the Lebanon Police Department, the Toyota was attempting to pull out of McDonald's and head southbound when it clipped the SUV in one of its rear wheels. Irelan and a female passenger were transported to University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
