Wilson County leaders recently announced the search for a naming rights partner for the Wilson County Expo Center.

Wilson County initiated the request for a naming proposal on Oct. 1, with proposals due to the Wilson County Finance office by Oct. 31.

Expo Center representatives said a naming rights partnership presents significant marketing value opportunity for a business or organization whose mission aligns with the Expo Center and its agricultural foundation.

Wilson County Government previously sought a naming partner for the 78,000-square-foot facility in August 2016, as the center neared completion.

“We are always looking for a way to diversify our funding source in a way that will continue to meet the future needs of the citizens we serve. A naming partnership for the Expo Center will provide an opportunity to reinforce the image of a community-minded organization or business and be a demonstration of their support for community investments,” Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto said in 2016.

Events held at the Expo Center include the Heart of Tennessee antique show, Lebanon High School prom, Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce Toast to Tennessee Wine Festival, Southern Home and Garden Expo and more.
