Full Throttle Customs will host their inaugural Cruise-in and Hang-out this Saturday, Nov. 17, at 115 S. Maple Street in Lebanon with the support of Lambo’s Clothing Co., Bag Dragger Customs, Jack Daniel’s and Southern Bank of Tennessee,

The event from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. will feature a car show, music and food. Admission for guests is free.

Lambo’s Clothing Co. owner and hot rod enthusiast Tommy Lamberson said he was honored to participate in the cruise-in. He and wife Tiffany will be bringing their restored 1950 Chevy pickup truck which appeared on the show “Vegas Rat Rods” on the Discovery Channel.

The truck, which Lamberson described as a “Mad Max-looking beast,” was built by Steve Darnell and Welder Up.

“People who follow that show are always amazed when they see it,” he said.

Lamberson admitted he’s been into hot rods and motorcycles since childhood.

Now with his job in the security field and traveling across the country, he enjoys checking out cars and trucks in different cities when he has a day off.

“I had met the guys who own Welder Up, and the next thing I knew this rebuild became an episode on TV,” Lamberson said. He added with a laugh that their truck’s nickname is the Lambonator.
