Christmas parade - ONLINE ONLY

More than 70 floats appeared in the Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade last year.

“Toy Story” is the theme of the 2019 Mt. Juliet Christmas parade.

The parade is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, traveling north on Mt. Juliet Road from West Wilson Middle School to Mt. Juliet Middle School.

“Our committee were talking about themes, and ‘Toy Story 4’ came out recently and we thought it was so popular. So, we decided on that.” Mt. Juliet Parks employee Jennifer Diekmann said.

There’s a $10 donation to walk in the parade with the proceeds going to the Christmas with a Cop program.

“Toy Story” characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep are the grand marshals of the parade.

Last year’s parade had around 70 floats. Candy is usually thrown to spectators from the floats. High school bands often march in the parade as well.

“This is going to be a huge deal,” Diekmann said.  “Nobody should miss out on this parade. It’s going to be extra special.”
