The Free Clothing Store will be open Friday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m.-Noon at Life Church located at 3688 Highway 109 in Lebanon. There will be free clothes in all sizes, free breakfast, some free groceries and free chiropractic adjustments.  

The Mt. Juliet High School Band of Gold SCGC Percussion/Winds Show is Saturday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. at Mt. Juliet High School, 1875 Golden Bear Gateway. There will be 15 winter percussion groups from Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama scheduled to perform. Tickets are $10 at the door and can be purchased early online at GoFan for $8 plus processing fee.

Wilson County Republican Party will meet Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9 a.m. at Music City Baptist Church, 7104 Lebanon Rd. in Mt. Juliet. Several candidates for a U.S. Senate seat are expected to attend. Updates will be provided for the Trump Day Dinner on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Tucker’s Gap Event Center in Lebanon. Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10. Pancake and Sausage Breakfast will be held Saturday, Feb. 15 from 7-11 a.m. at the Lebanon National Guard Armory, 1010 Leeville Pike in Lebanon. Tickets are $5 for adults; $3 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 or younger. The menu includes scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. The event is sponsored by Vietnam Veterans of America AND Associates of VVA Chapter 1004.

Wilson County History Trivia Contest sponsored by the Wilson County Black History Committee will be held Sunday, Feb. 23 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 110 W. Main St. in Lebanon. Prizes for the winning organizations are $500 (first place), $300 (second place), $200 (third place). Teams can include 8-10 members of all ages and must be registered by Feb. 16. Three Clay Workshops will be presented by the Tennessee Artist’s Guild. The first class will be taught by Louis and Christine Colombarini at their Cosmic Clay studio on Saturday, April 4. The second class will be taught by Lee Marshall on Saturday, June 6. The third class will be offered by Susan DeMay on Saturday, Aug.  8. After the workshops each student will have the opportunity to show what they have created at a gallery opening. The cost is $30 per person per workshop.
