Chamber launches second-floor renovation

The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce recently kicked off an estimated $300,000 renovation project for the second floor of its headquarters on the Lebanon Public Square.

According to a news release issued by the chamber, the renovations will be ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant by “adding a ‘Luna Lift,’ incorporating the newest ideas and the most up-to-date features.

“The space will include state-of-the-art technology for membership businesses, individuals and industry,” the release read. “It will also provide expanded meeting space with an additional conference room allowing up to 40 people with (an) internet café and social hub.”

Plans call for the renovation to blend both historic and open-concept looks.

Chamber officials thanked sponsors for making the renovations possible. Commitments to the project currently stand at more than $242,000. Vision Innovators for the project are Custom Packaging, First Freedom Bank, LoJac Materials, Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation and Wilson Bank & Trust; the Vision Partner is Liberty State Bank; Vision Builders are Beauty Boutique, Jewell Insurance, The Wilson Post, a private donor, Lochinvar LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of A.O. Smith Corp., WANT 98.9 and WCOR 1490, Farm Bureau Wes Dugan, THW Insurance, Tennova Healthcare and Hamilton Springs.
