Commercial Realty Services (CRS) recently broke ground on a second Providence Station mixed-use development that will bring a make-your-own-pizza restaurant, a high-end nail salon, a Southern restaurant and a classic barbershop — among other new businesses — to South Mt. Juliet.

According to CRS Marketing Director Kayce Lester, the development will be a replica of the existing CRS Providence Station building, home to Burger Republic, Three Dog Bakery and Bank of Tennessee.

“After the success of our first building and the tenants, we are excited and ready to get started on phase two of this development,” said Kenneth Powers, founder and president of CRS.

The two-story development will encompass 23,000 square feet, which includes available space for build-to-suit offices, Lester said.

Already planned are tenants Noire the Nail Bar, Your Pie Pizza, Uncle Classic Barbershop and PDK Southern Kitchen and Pantry, a new concept by Demos’ Restaurants. The projected opening date for the development is spring 2018.

Your Pie Pizza

Your Pie Pizza is a fun concept brought to Mt. Juliet by SMS Holdings. Lester said it’s a build-your-own-pizza, fast-casual restaurant and will take up 2,600 square feet of the development.

Lester described the restaurant as more than just pizza, but an experience. The Mt. Juliet location will be the second for SMS Holdings.

“Your Pie combines quality, culture and community to create an unparalleled pizza experience,” said a representative from Your Pie’s corporate office. “Your Pie uses hand-tossed dough, only fresh ingredients, homemade pizza sauces and salad dressings, and offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free pizzas as well as traditional pizzas.

“All menu items, including its rotating seasonal menu, are inspired by family recipes from the Italian island of Ischia. The brand also offers local craft beer, wine and Italian-style gelato pairings designed to perfectly compliment guests’ custom pizza creations.”

Noire the Nail Bar

No, it’s not just a typical nail salon; it’s a premiere boutique with skilled technicians and “innovative” systems for a relaxing experience, Lester said. The Mt. Juliet location is one of 15 operating locations. Some services offered are manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, eyelash extensions and body waxing.

“At Noire the Nail Bar, our goal is simple: to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience with high-quality service for our clients,” said a representative of Noire. “From the moment they enter to the moment they leave, our guests are provided with the first-rate, high-quality service for which we are known.”

Uncle Classic Barbershop

Uncle Classic Barbershop owner Amy Tanksley said her goal is to “take care of people and the community.” She described Uncle Classic Barbershop as a classic barbershop with modern twists. Tanksley has five Tennessee locations and has served customers for 10 years.

“Uncle is the best of an old-school barbershop with stability, customer service and quality services at a good value,” she said. “Uncle continues to grow because we do the little things and invest in the community. We are excited to be a part of the growing Mt. Juliet community.”

PDK Southern Kitchen and Pantry

The large, 3,800-square-foot restaurant will provide American-style comfort foods with a Southern twist. Patrons will find burgers, chicken, salads and sandwiches. Similar to Cracker Barrel, there will be a retail component allowing customers to buy the same ingredients they find on the restaurant’s menu.

“It will be a comfortable atmosphere with a modern design that is perfect for a quick and convenient meal,” said Peter Demos, owner of Demos’ Restaurants. “It will be great for busy families wanting to still have a sit-down meal together at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Along with dining in, guests can also take advantage of carry-out and drop-off catering.”

As far as the development’s office component, the new project will offer open workspaces ranging in size from 1,500 square feet to 11,000 square feet. The building’s second story will feature a lounge area, a kitchenette, conference rooms and restrooms.
