Autumn arriving with pleasant weather

I just can’t say enough good things about this forecast that I have for you. We get autumn kicked off in fine fashion with some beautiful weather across Middle Tennessee.

The days are going to be fair to partly sunny with highs in the 70s and possibly low-80s by Thursday. The nights are going to be clear and dropping to the upper-40s to low-50s.

There is no rain at all in our five-day forecast. High pressure has taken over and we were lucky as the flooding rains from Hurricane Sally went well to our south over Alabama and then into Georgia.

We do not have any more temperatures above the mid-80s expected all the way through the end of September.

With the beginning of autumn, the sun rises almost directly in the East and sets directly in the West and night and day are of almost equal length. The days are getting shorter with sunset now coming around 6:50 p.m.
