Sunday at Pickett-Rucker UMC —

Ty Jobe, a 2014 graduate of Watertown High, was honored Sunday afternoon with the Chris M. Price Memorial Athletic Award — presented in honor of the late Lebanon High and MTSU baseball standout.

The presentation was made at the Pickett – Rucker UMC Church as part of the 19th annual celebration of the Lebanon Clowns baseball team.

Jobe will enroll at Tennessee-Martin this fall as a graduate transfer after playing for NCAA Division II Mississippi College in 2017.

He led the Choctaws in passing and was third on the team in rushing — all while earning 37 credit hours in order to graduate.

Jobe signed with Tennessee Tech out of high school and spent three years at TTU under former coaches Watson Brown and Marcus Satterfield.

During his time at Mississippi College, Jobe was named to the Gulf Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

At Watertown under head coach Gavin Webster, Jobe set school records for career passing yards (5,366), career touchdowns (73) and career total offense (6,956 yards).

Making Sunday’s presentation were William A. Price and Rochell S. Price.
