Lady Devils stand 19-4 overall –
UPDATED — Lebanon High’s volleyball team won the District 9AAA tournament Wednesday, blanking Green Hill 3-0 in the championship game at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium. Game scores: 25-23, 25-15 & 25-23.
Lebanon’s three seniors led the way as Addie Grace Porter powered down 10 kills and added 16 digs; Kendall Arnold passed out 27 assists with 10 digs and 4 kills and Avery Harris finished with 5 kills, 4 blocks and 3 kills.
Sophomore Hayley Mitchell scored 7 kills and 2 blocks.
Runner-up Green Hill, 16-11 after the loss, was led by outside hitter Paige Griner who finished with 10 kills and 11 digs. Cate Van Hoven recorded 17 digs while setter Renee Jones passed out 30 assists.
Now 19-4 on the season, LHS will open Region 5AAA play Tuesday, Oct. 13 at Station Camp, taking on Beech at 5:30 p.m. in a semifinal game.
Green Hill is scheduled to play host Station Camp at 4 p.m. in the first semifinal with the two winners meeting at 7 p.m. for the region title.
