BOWLING — LHS sweeps in district quarters

Lady Devils stand 14-1; boys now 16-1 —

LEBANON — Ali Davis rolled a 215 to help lead Lebanon to a 26-1 victory over Merrol Hyde Magnet Thursday, Dec. 5 in the quarterfinals of the District 12 bowling tournament at Pro Bowl West.

With the win, LHS improved to 14-1 on the season and will take on Gallatin Thursday, Dec. 12 in the district semifinals. Action starts at 1 p.m. — again, at Pro Bowl West.

Other high scores for the Lady Devils included Hayli Stewart with a 182 and Addisen Johnsen 173.

BOYS Lebanon 22.5, Portland 4.5

LEBANON — Caleb Gregory bowled a 279, 214, 191 series Thursday afternoon as Lebanon eliminated Portland 22.5-4.5 in the quarterfinals of the District 12 tournament at Pro Bowl West.

LHS held the Panthers without a point in the first game and moved to 16-1 on the season.

High scores for the Blue Devils included Gregory Oliver 243, Jackson McRae 234 and Harvick Wiley 208.

With the victory, Lebanon earned a spot in the district semifinals Wednesday, Dec. 11 against Hendersonville.

The match is set for a 1 p.m. start at Pro Bowl West.
