Watertown 3, Green Hill 2

N. MT. JULIET - Watertown High improved to 18-7 overall following Monday's 3-2 victory at Green Hill High. Game scores: 21-25, 25-21, 25-22, 23-25 and 15-12.

The Lady Tigers are 7-0 in district play headed into a Thursday, Sept. 16 home match versus Jackson County High.

Green Hill is scheduled to play Sept. 16 at Mt. Juliet in a District 7-AAA contest.

Independence 3, Lebanon 0

THOMPSON'S STATION - Lebanon High's volleyball team slipped to 4-7 on the season following Monday's 3-0 loss at Independence High. Game scores: 18-25, 21-25 and 17-25.

The Lady Devils were led by Ava Knight with an ace, 7 kills, 2 blocks and 3 digs while Maya Gipson added 4 kills, a block, 14 assists and 14 digs.

Erin Gallatin finished with 3 assists and 12 digs and Toni Adewale had 2 kills, 4 blocks and a dig.

LHS is scheduled to play at Wilson Central Tuesday, Sept. 14 in a District 7-AAA match.

Mt. Juliet 3, White House Heritage 1

WHITE HOUSE - Down 1-0 after losing the first set, Mt. Juliet rallied to take three straight in Monday's 3-1 victory at White House Heritage High. Game scores: 24-26, 25-21, 25-17 and 25-11.

Helen Roy led the Lady Bears with 13 kills and 6 blocks while Gracie Penland recorded 11 kills.

Morgan Sneed had 20 digs, Addison Griffith charted 10 blocks and Kylie Danella served four aces.

Mt. Juliet hosts Cookeville Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 pm, then Green Hill is slated to visit MJHS Thursday at 5:30 pm for a District 7-AAA contest.
