Four teams in action Monday night

The Mt. Juliet Christian Academy and Mt. Juliet High School basketball programs are scheduled to play at home Monday, Nov. 25.

STEM Prep Academy of Nashville will provide the opposition with the girls game tipping at 6 p.m. Ravenwood High visits Mt. Juliet for a 6:30 pm twinbill.

Also on tap Monday: Wilson Central visits Shelbyville Central, Friendship Christian travels to Montgomery County to take on Clarksville Christian.

Tuesday's schedule includes: Riverdale at Lebanon 6:30 pm; Watertown at Jackson County 6 pm and Clarksville Christian at Mt. Juliet Christian 6 pm.

PORTLAND -- Emma Christensen scored 17 points to lead Watertown High to a 43-38 victory over host Portland Saturday, Nov. 23.

Brittni Allison and Delanney Hight had seven points each while Daejah Maaklary chipped in with six. Morgan Bain rounded out the WHS scoring with four and Madi Reeder had two points.

(girls) Watertown 47, East Robertson 26

PORTLAND -- Watertown placed two in double figures in a 47-26 win over East Robertson Saturday in a TSSAA Hall of Champions contest at Portland.

Brittni Allison had 17 and Emma Christensen scored 12. Delanney Hight scored seven, Daejah Maklary four, Alie Tunks three, Madi Reeder and Morgan Bain two each.

(girls) Wilson Central 55, Shelbyville Central 44

GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central improved to 2-0 on the season following a 55-44 home win over Shelbyville Central Thursday, Nov. 21.

Down 27-23 at intermission, the Lady Wildcats went on a 17-3 run in the third period.

Jakoria Woods paced Wilson Central with 15 points, Sydnee Richetto popped a pair of 3-pointers for 14 and Campbell Strange added 12 and seven rebounds.

Sydney Dalton chipped in with seven points, Jasmin Angel scored four and Nicole Brill had two in her first game action since suffering a foot injury during volleyball season.

(girls) Mt. Juliet 71, Siegel 39

MT. JULIET -- Ninth grader Eva Heilman knocked down eight 3-pointers and finished with 30 points as Mt. Juliet rolled to a 71-39 home win over Siegel Thursday, Nov. 21.

Halle Jones scored 23 while Ashlyn Riggs and Nevaeh Majors had nine each while Majors dished out 11 assists.

(girls) Lebanon 48, Stewarts Creek 38

LEBANON -- Junior guard Addie Grace Porter drilled a pair of 3-pointers and connected on 7-of-8 at the line to help lead Lebanon to a 48-38 victory over Stewarts Creek in a Thursday, Nov. 21 win at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.

"This team is growing," said Lebanon High coach Cory Barrett. "We were a lot better tonight than we were Tuesday -- and that's what we're looking for."

Melissa Mulaski also had two 3-pointers and finished with 13 while Anne Heidenbreicht chipped in with five.

The Devilettes finished 20-of-25 at the free throw line in a physical contest.

(girls) Gordonsville 36, Friendship 25

LEBANON -- Powered by a 14-6 first quarter advantage, Gordonsville held off Friendship Christian 36-25 Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Bay Family Sportsplex.

The Lady Tigers were led by 20 points from Lera Britt.

Rachel Pippin led FCS with 10 points. Savannah Craighead finished with five and Anna Taylor added four.
